Can you play Social Empires on Android or iPhone?

Yes. Social Empires is played in the browser, so any phone or tablet with a modern browser will do: Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari, on Android as well as on iPhone. There is no app to install and nothing to download from any app store: you open the page and you play.

That works because this FB Games edition runs directly in the browser, with no Flash and no plugins. The original game, made by Social Point, began on Facebook and relied on Flash, a technology that was retired at the end of 2020. Beware of the APK and fake Social Empires apps

If you search for "Social Empires APK" or "Social Empires download" you will find pages promising a file to install. This edition neither needs nor offers one: there is no APK and no official app, and the game is played in the browser. Any file you are asked to download in order to play is a warning sign.

An APK from an unknown site can hide harmful programs or aggressive ads, and to install it you would have to get past your phone's security warnings. Do not do it: install nothing in order to play, and do not switch on installs from unknown sources for this.
