Social Empires
Build your village, train troops and defend it from the trolls. You play in your browser, and your village is saved to your account.
Cash is the premium currency in Social Empires, and there are three legitimate ways to earn it: 1 for every level you gain, the daily bonus and, if you like, a voluntary donation requested through a ticket in the game. This guide explains how to collect it, what to spend it on and why a cash generator is always a trap.

Create a free account, build your village and earn your first cash when you level up. Everything runs in your browser, with no Flash and nothing to install.

Build your village, train troops and defend it from the trolls. You play in your browser, and your village is saved to your account.
Social Empires has two kinds of currency. The everyday resources are four: gold, wood, stone and food. Your villagers gather them, and you spend them on buildings and troops. Cash is something else: it is the premium currency, kept for special things and for saving time.
The difference matters because it changes how you play. The four basic resources keep flowing as long as your villagers stay busy, so you are always moving. Cash arrives at a gentler pace and is best treated as something you manage, not something you spend the moment you see it. Understanding that from day one keeps you from running dry just when you needed it.
There are two ways to earn cash without paying anything. The first is leveling up: each time you reach a new level, the game gives you 1 cash. The second is the daily bonus, which you claim when you log in. It takes a few seconds, and repeated day after day it quietly adds up.
Leveling up depends on growing your village, so the best advice for earning free cash is simply to play regularly: villagers at work, new buildings, an army that keeps growing and defenses kept up to date. On top of its cash, each level unlocks buildings, troops and a new title, from Slave to Conqueror. The cash comes as a gift with that progress.
If someone offers you a different route to free cash, such as a mysterious link, a program or a survey, be suspicious. We explain why further down.
If you want more cash than the game gives you and you would like to help keep the server running, you can make a voluntary donation. You ask for it by opening a ticket from the game, using the support button. It is always optional: Social Empires can be played from start to finish without spending anything.
The ticket is the route you should use to donate. Do not send money or payment details to anyone through the chat, a private message or any other channel outside the game. If someone asks you to, say no and open a ticket to report it.
One piece of advice before you think about it: play for a few days first. You will learn the pace of your village, see how much cash you earn on your own and be able to judge whether a donation is worth it to you. There is no hurry, and your game does not suffer from waiting.
The useful rule is simple: cash is for saving time on what matters, not for covering impulses. Before you spend it, ask what you get in return. Does it speed up something that is truly holding you back, or are you spending it just because it is there? If it is the second, wait.
What usually pays off most is speeding up whatever unlocks your progress, such as a key construction that stops you taking the next step, and not things you could wait for while doing something else. A good legitimate habit is to set a goal before you spend: if you are saving cash for something specific, do not divert it along the way.
And remember that help from neighbors and allies also speeds up constructions and productions without costing you any cash. Ask for it and accept it every time, and keep your cash for what that help does not solve.
People search for them a lot, so it is worth saying plainly: cash hacks and generators for Social Empires do not work. The reason is simple and technical. Your cash balance is not in your browser; it is stored on the server, and the server decides how much you have. An outside web page cannot write a number into your account.
What those sites do manage is to take advantage of whoever goes looking for them. They tend to ask for your username and password, send you through endless surveys or ask you to install a supposedly necessary program, and that is where the danger lies: stolen data, hijacked accounts and harmful software on your computer or phone. The promise of unlimited free cash is just the bait.
Warning signs: they ask for your password, make you download an executable or an app, force you to “verify you are human” with surveys, or promise huge amounts. If you see any of these, close the page. This edition does not need you to download anything in order to play.
“You cannot make progress without spending cash.” False: the whole game can be played without spending anything, and cash is a way to save time, not a toll. “You can only get it by paying.” Also false: each level gives 1 and the daily bonus gives more.
“I need Facebook to have cash.” No: you play with an account of your own on FB Games, and your cash is tied to it. “My Facebook cash will be imported.” Not that either: progress from the original game is not imported and every account starts from zero.
“Someone will give me cash if I hand over my password.” That is a scam: you never share your password with anyone. And if you hear about a trick to double your cash, remember that the balance lives on the server and cannot be manipulated from outside.
Log in every day and claim the daily bonus before you do anything else. Then check your village: make sure no villager is idle, that crops are collected and that constructions in progress are on track.
Split your time between growing the economy, with houses, crops, mines and sawmills, and strengthening your defense with towers and walls. That way leveling up is the natural result of growing and not a race. Ask for and accept help from your neighbors to reach the next level sooner and, with it, the next cash.
With a few minutes a day and a little consistency, cash keeps arriving almost without you noticing. If you want to see the whole game, the official guide is at empires.fbgamesweb.com/how-to-play.
