Social Empires
Build your village, train troops and defend it from the trolls. You play in your browser, and your village is saved to your account.
Social Empires Classic is the FB Games edition that runs the client of version 1.4.07, the last known original version of Social Point's strategy game, on a rebuilt server. It plays in your browser with no Flash and no Facebook, using an account of your own. This page explains what classic means here, what to expect and what not to.

Here is the game: open it in your browser, create your account and start your village again from the town hall. From its page you can also reach the official step-by-step guide.

Build your village, train troops and defend it from the trolls. You play in your browser, and your village is saved to your account.
Social Empires Classic is not a new game inspired by the original. The client that opens in your browser is the one from version 1.4.07, the last known original version of the strategy game from Social Point that began on Facebook. What has been rebuilt is the server, which is the part that stores your village, your resources and your progress.
That combination explains the name. You play with the client from the game's final stage, but on a new server, with accounts of its own and no reliance on Facebook or Flash. It is a way back to an older version of the game without hunting for strange programs or installing anything.
One detail is worth keeping in mind: “classic” does not mean “identical”. It describes the client version and the kind of game you will find, not an exact replica of the service that once existed on Facebook.
You start the way you always did: with a town hall and a handful of villagers who gather food, wood, stone and gold. With those resources you put up houses to raise your population, crops and a mill, mines and sawmills, and the military buildings too: barracks for infantry, archery ranges, stables for cavalry and workshops for siege machines. The temple, the market, towers and walls round out the village.
The trolls are still out there, with their camps and their periodic attacks on your village. There is also player-versus-player combat (PvP) and a ranking to measure yourself against others. The social side is all there: help from allies and neighbors to speed up buildings and production, the Round Table and the global chat.
The familiar logic still holds: villagers work, buildings produce and you decide what to build first. Gold, wood, stone and food are the four resources that drive the village, and cash is the premium currency, which you do not need to spend to move forward.
The advanced content of the game is part of this edition. Heroes are managed from the Hero Altar and dragons are raised in the dragon hatchery, where breeding moves along with the help of your friends.
Wonders of the world, such as Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal and the Colosseum, bring benefits to your empire. The Soul Mixer lets you fuse units, and the troll city is a second city you develop separately. Levels give you titles that run from Slave to Conqueror, so there is always a next goal in sight and no need to rush to reach everything.
This edition is not the original service run by Social Point, and it has no connection with that company, with Facebook or with Meta. It is an independent FB Games project, with its own server and its own rules.
Progress you had on Facebook is not imported: every account starts from zero. And because the server has been rebuilt, there may be differences from the original and bugs as well. We do not present it as an exact copy, but as a project that keeps getting better.
If something does not work the way you expected, open a ticket from the support button inside the game. It is the way to report a bug and also to ask anything about your account.
The most obvious change is what you no longer need. You do not need Facebook: you register with an account of your own. You do not need Flash or plugins: the game opens straight in Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari, with nothing to install. And it is free.
Your progress is also saved on the server rather than in the browser, so you can carry on with your village from a PC or from a phone using the same account. The game itself comes in Spanish, English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Russian.
Help works differently too: support is handled through tickets inside the game. Cash, the premium currency, arrives with every level you gain (1 per level) and with the daily bonus. Voluntary donations are optional, are requested by opening a ticket and are never needed to play.
If you played Social Empires on Facebook, this edition lets you see again the village, the trolls and the dragons you grew up with. The village you had back then does not return, but what you learned will help from the very first minute, and starting from scratch has its charm: now you get to do it better.
If you have never played it, it is a good way into village strategy. Crops take time to grow and buildings take time to finish, so you can log in, give your orders and come back later. You do not need to know the original to enjoy it.
And if you have friends who remember it too, add each other as allies and neighbors: mutual help is still a central part of the game, and it is more fun with company.
Open empires.fbgamesweb.com in your browser, create an account and click the town hall to train villagers. Send them to the crops, the trees and the mines, collect what they produce and put up your first houses before your population runs short.
When you want the details of each building and each screen, the official step-by-step guide is at empires.fbgamesweb.com/how-to-play. If you get stuck, it works best with the game open beside it.
A first session well spent: train villagers, set them to gather and, while they work, place houses and a crop. Then claim the daily bonus and ask your allies and neighbors for help to speed up whatever you have started.
Go back to the habits that worked: keep your villagers busy, grow your population with houses before you want a big army, spread your building across the four resources and put up towers and walls before the next troll attack. Ask for and accept help every day, and do not forget the daily bonus.
Save your cash for what really matters to you and do not spend it on impulse. And be wary of any site that promises free cash, asks you to download a program or wants your Facebook password to play: this edition needs none of that.
Three steps and you're in.
From this home page. Each game opens at its own address, with its own start screen.
A quick sign-up inside the game. Your progress is saved on the server, not in your browser.
You play in your browser, with no Flash and no downloads, on a computer and, depending on the game, on your phone too.

The original game belongs to Social Point. This edition is an independent project: the client is the one from 1.4.07, but the server has been rebuilt, so it is not the original service and there may be differences and bugs. It has no connection with Social Point, Facebook or Meta.
The client is version 1.4.07, the last known original version of the game. The server has been rebuilt and keeps being improved, so some details may not match what you remember.
Yes, and with no Flash at all. It opens in Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari, with no plugins or downloads, and you sign in with an account of your own instead of a Facebook one. The village, the trolls, the heroes and the dragons are all still there.
No. Facebook progress is not imported and every account starts from zero. This is an independent server with its own accounts, so your old game is not here.
It is not a remake built from scratch. It starts from the 1.4.07 client, and what has been rebuilt is the server. It is a project under continuous improvement, so think of it as a way to revive the game rather than an exact copy.
